About J.R. J.R. Brewing was started in December 2003. J.R. Brewing is a two man brewing team. "J" is for Jamie and "R" is for Ray. The journey began on a kitchen stove top. The first beer was an extract porter. After a few indoor batches the "brewery" moved outside to a SS turkey fryer. Many extract and partial mash beers were concocted with this setup. In June 2004, the next big step was the move to all grain brewing. The Brewshed was in the early stages at this point. It was just a matter of time before it all came together. The brewshed is up, the kegs are tapped, and Life is Good. |
